1. Who we are

gonumbers.com is operated by GoNumbers LLC ("GoNumbers", "we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected]. By placing an order you agree to these Terms of Sale, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

2. What you buy

You buy the right to have a specific US phone number transferred (ported) to a carrier or phone service of your choice, together with the details needed for that transfer: account number, account name, port-out PIN, service address and billing ZIP (the "transfer pack"). We do not provide calling, texting or any other telecommunications service, and no monthly plan is included.

Phone numbers are a public resource administered under US telecommunications rules. No one owns a phone number. Your use of a number after the transfer is subject to your carrier's terms and to applicable law, and we do not guarantee any ownership right in a number.

3. Prices

All prices are in US dollars and are one-time prices for a single number. Prices are set per number and may change over time and may differ between visitors, for example when a discount applies. The price you pay is the price shown on the checkout button and in the Stripe checkout page when you confirm the order. Any taxes are shown at checkout. If a number is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical error, we may cancel the order before payment is captured; you will not be charged.

4. Order, payment and delivery

Payment is processed by Stripe. When you check out, your card is authorised but not yet charged.
We then secure the number for you. If the number is no longer available, the authorisation is released and you are not charged.
Once the number is secured, the payment is captured and your order is confirmed by email to the address you used at checkout. Your order page shows the status.
For most numbers the transfer pack is delivered immediately. For some numbers the port-out PIN must be issued by the network that currently holds the number; in that case your order page says so, and we deliver the complete transfer pack within 14 days. Do not start the port before you have the complete transfer pack.

5. Transferring your number

You have 90 days from purchase to port the number to your carrier or phone service. During this period we keep the number reserved for you. Porting is subject to the receiving provider's rules: some services, including personal Google Voice, do not accept these numbers, and toll-free numbers are usually accepted only by business or VoIP providers. You are responsible for checking that your provider accepts the number before you buy; our transfer guide can help. If you cannot complete the transfer within the transfer period, contact us before it ends and we will work with you in good faith.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use a number bought from us for unlawful purposes, including illegal robocalls or robotexts, caller ID spoofing, fraud, harassment, or any use that violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the TRACED Act or other applicable law. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect such use.

7. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Reseller program

If you take part in our reseller program, the program terms published on /resellers also apply.

9. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these terms, the site and the numbers are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Beauty scores, tiers and pattern labels are our own descriptions of a number's digits and are not a promise of value or resale price. We are not responsible for delays or refusals by carriers or phone services involved in a transfer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, GoNumbers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify GoNumbers against claims, losses and costs arising from your use of a number in breach of these terms or of applicable law.

12. Disputes and governing law

Please contact us first; most issues are solved quickly by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally within 30 days will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, under the Federal Arbitration Act. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding. You may opt out of this arbitration clause by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of your first purchase.

13. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and GoNumbers about your purchase.
