Phone number patterns
A pattern is what makes a number memorable: a repeating digit, a run of sequential digits, a string that reads the same forwards and backwards. Each pattern below explains what it means and shows the numbers in stock today, so you can pick the type that is easiest for you, or your customers, to remember.
Repeaters · 22,067The same digit repeated across the whole local number. Example: (228) 888-8814
Triple or quads · 1,960,190A run of three or four identical digits, usually at the end. Example: (833) 626-7888
Double pairs · 3,838,136Two or more adjacent pairs of identical digits (aabb, aabbcc). Example: (833) 626-7070
Ladders · 1,114,986A stepwise sequence going up or down (1234, 9876). Example: (208) 503-3210
Block repeats · 24,936A short block of digits repeated (abab, abcabc). Example: (218) 325-3253
Memorable tails · 1,580,412A last-four group people already know (1000, 2468, 5678). Example: (217) 666-2063
Low varieties · 73,621Only two or three distinct digits in the local seven. Example: (224) 422-2442
Round numbers · 1,671,721Trailing zeros (x000, xx00). Example: (205) 800-4081
How the beauty score and tiers work
Every number gets a deterministic beauty score from its digit pattern: runs of the same digit, ladders, palindromes, repeated blocks and familiar endings all add to it. The score sets the tier, from Standard ($49.95) up to Grail, and the tier sets the price. Higher score means a rarer pattern. It is not a customer rating. The scale is open-ended; the highest score in today's catalog is 5600.
