Who is responsible

gonumbers.com is operated by GoNumbers LLC ("GoNumbers", "we"). Questions and requests: [email protected].

What we collect

Order details. Your email address, the number you bought, the price, and order and transfer status. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
Messages. What you send us by email.
Technical data. IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, recorded in server and security logs. We use your IP address to estimate your US state or city so we can show numbers near you; this estimate is not stored with your identity.
Cookies and browser storage (see below).

If you are a reseller, we also keep your partner account details, referral clicks and commission records.

Why we use it

To process your order, secure the number, deliver the transfer pack and support the port (performance of the contract).
To keep records required for accounting, tax and legal purposes (legal obligation).
To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the site secure and improve it (legitimate interests).
To pay reseller commissions and attribute referrals.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

Cookies and browser storage

gn_ctx — remembers how you arrived and the prices you were shown, so a quoted price holds for 72 hours and checkout charges the same price (cookie kept up to 30 days).
gn_ref, gn_vid — remember which reseller referred you, so they can be credited (30 days).
gn_aff_session — keeps resellers signed in to their partner account.
Browser storage (localStorage) for your theme, saved numbers and chosen state; this stays on your device.

These are needed for the site to work as described; we do not use advertising cookies.

Who we share it with

Stripe — payment processing.
Mailgun — sending order and transfer emails.
Cloudflare — hosting security and content delivery.
Google Fonts — web fonts loaded by your browser.
Telecommunications carriers — the network that holds the number, to secure it and release it for your port.
Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed for the transfer and support, and then for up to 7 years for accounting and legal purposes. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security. Reseller records are kept while the partner account is active and as required for payouts and tax.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither). Email [email protected] to make a request; we will verify it using your order email and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control are honoured to the extent they apply.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, access is limited to people who need it, and transfer details are only shown on your order page and in emails to your order address.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Where we operate

GoNumbers sells US phone numbers and is intended for customers in the United States. Data is processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
